An accomplished health executive in Houston, Rodney Goodie holds a master of business administration with a focus in health care from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and a bachelor of arts in sociology from the University of Houston. Currently attending Emory University in Atlanta, Rodney Goodie is pursuing a doctorate in public health with a concentration in prevention science.
Mr. Goodie has been chief executive officer of the St. Hope Foundation since founding this Houston-based community healthcare organization in 1999. Operating on a nonprofit basis as a Federally Qualified Health Center, the St. Hope Foundation strives to address gaps in medical and wellness services for patients with a variety of diseases and disorders. Rodney Goodie’s leadership responsibilities with St. Hope Foundation extend to all aspects of daily management, staff oversight, and strategic growth.
Outside of the professional arena, he has a history of volunteerism with organizations that range from the American Liver Foundation to the National Black Leadership Commission on Health. He also a board member of the University of Houston Cougar Athletic Alliance.
